Editor: MONICA, WE WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE MORE STORIES ABOUT THE MEXICAN RESIDENTS OF COLONIA MORELOS, OR THE OTHER COLONIES, DURING THE TIME OF 1895-1914 AND THE PERIOD SHORTLY AFTER THAT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENTS.

DEAR EDITOR, MY NAME IS FEDERICO GONZALEZ AND I LOVE YOUR POST, SINCE THIS IS ALSO MY ROOTS. I POSTED A COMMENT EARLIER TODAY AND I REALIZED THAT I HAD ACCIDENTALLY POSTED IT UNDER THE SUNDAY JUNE 11 BLOG FOR COLONIA MORELOS, INSTEAD OF WHERE YOU ASKED FOR MORE HISTORY FROM 1895-1900'S. I DO APOLOGIZE.
"Eleuterio Acosta had traveled as a boy to Colonia Morelos with a burro train from Chihuahua. Mitchell Lillywhite took a great liking to him and took him in, raising him as a son and personally instructing Acosta in milling."
Eleuterio Acosta is my Great Grandfather. Would like more history on the Flour Mill in Colonia Morelos, Sonora.
Best Regards
