Stephens Shupe Connection

I found your great web site and thought i would share this picture of Alexander Nephi Stephens, son of John and and Elizabeth Stephens. Sorry it is such a poor copy. My husbands mother is a stephens thru Alexander and My husband is also related thru his fathers side to John Whitstein Shupe brother of Andrew Jackson Shupe. John Whitstein died along the mormon trail after trying to rescue his parents Peter and Sarah who died also. I don't know any more about his parent. Peter and Sarah. Thanks for all the great info.
